Anticipating that some patients, family members and their staff might require and prefer the size and comfort of a private aircraft, Phoenix Air customized one of its Gulfstream G-III into a single patient VIP configuration for this purpose. One Spectrum aeromedical stretcher is mounted in the forward section of the aircraft near the oversized cargo door for ease in loading and unloading the patient. A completely remodeled lavatory is located in the forward section that allows easy access for both passengers and flight crew. The mid and aft sections are reserved for medical personnel, family members and staff. Oversized first-class leather seating and conference table area are also featured. Each medical movement includes a flight attendant to ensure 100% first class service at all times, as well as maintaining the highest level of safety standards. Specialized catering and on-demand/on-board meal preparation is available (including select wines, if desired).
